Mike Dunbar

Mr Dunbar has over 25 years' experience in exploration and mine geology in Australia and overseas. He was involved in the discovery, delineation and development of the +2Moz Thunderbox gold mine, the delineation and development of the +1Moz Dalgaranga Gold Mine, the discovery and delineation of the +1Moz Glenburgh Gold deposit and the discovery and delineation of the Waterloo/Amorac, Munali and the Mirabella Nickel Sulphide mines, the IOCG - Cloncurry Copper, Gold, Cobalt, Magnetite project as well as a number of smaller deposits. Mr Dunbar's experience includes 4 years with Eagle Mining, 6 years with LionOre Australia, 6 years with the Mitchell River group of companies including Albidon, Mirabela Nickel, African Energy, Sally Malay Mining (now Panoramic) and Exco Resources and 9 years with Gascoyne Resources. Mr Dunbar was previously Managing Director at Mamba Exploration.

Tony Stubbin

Tony Stubbin commenced as General Manager of the Land Development Corporation on 15 February 2016. Prior to this, he was a Deputy Under Treasurer in the Northern Territory Department of Treasury & Finance with responsibility for the Economic Group; Corporate Support Group; Superannuation Office and the Northern Territory Treasury Corporation.
Tony joined Treasury in 1992 and has more than 30 years’ experience in various Territory and Commonwealth Government departments. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Wollongong and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of Southern Queensland.

Evan Tyrrell

Evan leads the unit responsible for delivering the Darwin Region Water Supply Infrastructure Program, including the Adelaide River Off-stream Water Storage project.

With over 20 years of experience in the Northern Territory public sector, Evan has extensive and detailed knowledge of project development in the Territory, in particular, understanding the unique challenges we face.

Evan has tertiary qualifications in management and has managed a range of government facilitated projects and programs such as the Northern Territory Legacy Mines Program.

Evan has a passion for projects that can make a difference to the community with a focus on making sure Darwin has enough water for the future.

Shane Dahlhelm

Shane after moving to the Territory in the 1980’s, has worked in the civil, buildings, marine and mining construction and infrastructure asset management sectors for over 37 years across the NT, WA and the United Arab Emirates. Managing projects and contracts for major projects across northern and western Australia, Shane provides strategic and policy advice to Agency Ministers, Executives, Infrastructure Commissioner, Client Agencies and Industry representatives. His current project planning and delivery portfolio totals in the order of $2 billion. Shane has a range of experience and professional qualifications in Technical, Professional and Engineering disciplines including governance and business most recently a Post Graduate Degree in Business and is currently under consideration for Membership of Engineering Executive with Engineers Australia.

Daniel Cameron

Daniel leads one of the largest infrastructure projects in the Northern Territory, heading up the Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct. Starting his career as a consultant civil engineer in South East Queensland, Daniel worked as an engineering consultant in his home town of Darwin across several residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure development projects as well as a construction contractor on significant process plant and infrastructure projects. Working with the Northern Territory’s strategic land developer, the Land Development Corporation, Daniel delivered the first stage of the Kittyhawk development at Middle Arm. After growing up and going to school in Alice Springs and Darwin, Daniel pursued a career working on strategic infrastructure projects in the Territory and became Project Director of the Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct in 2023.

Jett Street

Jett is a commercial and corporate affairs professional with expertise in the development and operation of major energy projects in the Northern Territory. She has 17 years of leadership experience in strategy, government affairs, commercial, stakeholder engagement, risk, Aboriginal agreements, communications and communities, and holds a Masters in Strategic Communication (Risk). Her private sector experience includes 13 years in senior government affairs and commercial roles with leading operators and developers in the NT including ConocoPhillips, Santos, and now Sun Cable. This has exposed her to renewable energy projects, onshore and offshore oil and gas operations, LNG backfill, brownfield expansion, and early-stage development of hydrogen, e-fuels, and green industrial projects.

Greg Midgley is a Partner at Clayton Utz, one of Australia's leading law firms. Greg heads up the firm's Major Projects team in Darwin, specialising in the structuring, funding and development of major infrastructure projects.  Greg and his team are currently advising on some of the Northern Territory's and Australia's highest profile projects, including the Beetaloo Basin, Middle Arm, Inland Rail, North-East Link and Cross River Rail.

Karen Walsh

Karen is the CEO of Venture Housing.  Karen’s 35 year career spans the UK and Australia, in Government, corporate and non-government sectors -  in executive roles driving strategy, policy and housing reform and growth in Aboriginal, public and community housing. 

For seven years at SGCH Karen led the contract and tenancy  management of Australia’s first Social housing PPP in Bonnyrigg, as well as leading urban regeneration and place making partnerships across the portfolio of 4,000 managed and owned affordable homes. Karen successfully led the Group’s innovation and business initiatives and bids, as well as its strategic asset portfolio and social impact frameworks. 

Karen is committed to achieving impact through collaborations, leadership and harnessing the strengths of social purpose and commercial disciplines. She has been instrumental in influencing, leading, and delivering reform and growth initiatives in the Aboriginal and community housing sectors since 2005 in NSW and 2019 in the NT, and since 2021 led the collaboration to establish a Community Housing Industry Association NT branch.

In 2019 Karen moved to an Exec role in NT Government where she led the community housing growth reform, homelessness services, urban planning and new supply, and drove innovative housing services and programs. In 2021 Karen joined Venture Housing as the CEO and has focussed on the organisation’s growth strategy and vision since.   

Karen’s holds two Masters Degrees - Social Policy and an Executive Masters, Public Administration; is a GAICD;  and an Honorary Associate of the UTS Institute of Public Policy and Governance. Karen is committed to excellence in governance and has served on many Boards, including national peak and industry bodies and is currently a Director on CHIA; the AHI; My Foundations Youth Housing; and a committee member on UDIA NT.

Ben is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in design drafting and modelling for the Built Environment, having worked with leading consultancies like ARUP, SMEC, and Aurecon. He specialises in improving coordinated design processes and is focused on advancing coordination and automation in the industry. Ben excels in creating streamlined workflows using digital delivery methods, leveraging both traditional CAD tools and the latest BIM software. At Arkance, he stays at the forefront of BIM technology providing software guidance and implementing technology tools.
